For four generations, the Gowers have built homes across southern Maine with a steadfast commitment to quality craftsmanship. It began with Deane's grandfather, Ernie Jordan, who worked for George Stanford (Deane's great uncle) of Stanford Construction. Stanford was one of the largest builders in Southern Maine at the time. Deane's father, Gunter Gower, worked alongside and learned from Ernie and George before venturing off on his own to start Gower Construction Company in 1983. After Gunter was injured on the job, Deane stepped into the business during his senior year of high school in 1994. While completing his education, Deane kept projects moving and helped the company recover and grow. Today Deane leads the business, delivering high-end homes and remodels from start to finish—one quality project at a time. In 2022, Connor joined as the fourth generation, bringing the same focus on customers, craftsmanship, and work ethic that has made Gower Construction, now Gower and Son Construction Company, LLC., a trusted name in southern Maine.
